Voting as a non-Dutch citizen in the European Parliament elections

Residents who do not hold the Dutch nationality but are citizens of the EU will also be eligible to vote in the Netherlands

Elections for the European Parliament will take place on Thursday, June 6, 2024. Residents who do not hold the Dutch nationality but are citizens of the EU will also be eligible to vote in the Netherlands.

Registration form for voting as an EU citizen in Losser

Conditions

  • You hold the nationality of a country within the European Union
  • You are 18 years of age or older on June 6, 2024
  • You reside in Losser on April 23, 2024
  • You are not excluded from voting rights

What you need to know

  • Decide where you want to vote.
  • Inform us by April 23, 2024, if you wish to vote in the Netherlands. You will receive your polling card from the municipality of Losser before May 23, 2024. Perhaps you have already registered as a voter in the Netherlands for the European Parliament elections. In that case, you do not need to do it again.
  • If you wish to vote in your own country, check with your local government to see what rules apply and how to proceed.

If you encounter difficulties online

If you are unable to register online, you can use a registration form to indicate that you wish to vote in the Netherlands.

Download the registration form. Send the completed form along with a copy of your identification document to: Gemeente Enschede, Team Verkiezingen, Postbus 20, 7500 AA Enschede. You can also hand in a physical copy of the form at the municipal office (Hengelosestraat 51 in Enschede). You do not need to make an appointment.
